Lately I've become fascinated with the potential of this emerging phenomenon and as a result I have started Facebook Group: "This Recession is OVER!"
What if they gave a recession and nobody came?
The idea is to harness the power of social media marketing to end the recession. Ok, it's a pretty daunting (impossible?) goal, but if all we manage to do is counter the relentless "if it bleeds (jobs and red ink) it leads" negativity/self fulfilling prophecy in the media, then surely that's got to help! Call it a social experiment or whatever, I'd like to see what we can achieve. So far, a few weeks in, numbers are in the three figures. It's an open group, so please join, spread the word and help us "Dump the Slump™!"
