Film/video (Youtube.com/ericg159) Recently completed the 5-day Doc Challenge... created a 7 minute film entitled "Hope is a Whistle" the story of a severely developmentally delayed girl and the progress she's making as she learns to communicate via music therapy. Comedy (Second City – Improv Levels A-E), Books (I belong the The Wheatsheaf Literary Society (www.seedickread.com), Social Media Marketing Lately I've become fascinated with the potential of this emerging phenomenon and as a result I have started Facebook Group: "This Recession is OVER!" What if they gave a recession and nobody came? The idea is to harness the power of social media marketing to end the recession. Ok, it's a pretty daunting (impossible?) goal, but if all we manage to do is counter the relentless "if it bleeds (jobs and red ink) it leads" negativity/self fulfilling prophecy in the media, then surely that's got to help! Call it a social experiment or whatever, I'd like to see what we can achieve. So far, a few weeks in, numbers are in the three figures. It's an open group, so please join, spread the word and help us "Dump the Slump™!"
